Centered in the heart of Westwood Village in Los Angeles, California is Westwood Marketplace, an urban infill project redeveloped by Regent. Formerly an outdated movie theater and adjacent retail lots, the property was entitled for a new 26,000 square foot prototype Whole Foods Market, built in the Spanish Colonial Revival style.
The project also includes restaurants, an art house movie theater and multi-level parking. Completed in 2003, Westwood Marketplace project received a Gold Nugget award for best rehabilitation of a commercial or industrial project.
