Located in the north Dallas suburb of Frisco, Post Oaks is a 1,050-acre mixed-use master planned community, which is now fully built out. The project comprised more than 2,500 residential units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space.
Regent purchased the foreclosed property from the FDIC, after which Regent entitled the property for a mixed-use project and negotiated an agreement with the North Dallas Toll Road authority to extend the Toll Road through the Post Oaks project. This was done in consideration for dedicating two on-and-off ramp locations within the development.
As the master developer, Regent obtained the development approvals, extended utilities to and throughout the project, constructed the major arterials and streets throughout the project, established and managed the Property Owners’ Association to ensure a high level of architectural compatibility, sold parcels to both residential and commercial developers and developed the balance of the project.
