For 40 years, the Mother Lode was one of Aspen, Colorado's most popular restaurants — housed in a 22,000 square-foot, Victorian-style building originally constructed in 1886. Regent acquired the centrally-located, historic property and initiated the development of condominium units and affordable rental housing — much needed in this upscale resort town.
Regent’s plans called for residential units in close proximity to world-class shopping, dining, entertainment and skiing as well as permanently protected views of Aspen Mountain. After finalizing development and building plans, Regent successfully sold the property to a merchant builder prior to construction.
